Cognition Method
A downloadable game for Windows
About the Game:
Cognition Method is a story-driven first-person puzzle game that explores perception, emotion, and the limits of human understanding. Inspired by 2001: A Space Odyssey and Solaris, it places you inside a surreal world shaped by a mysterious, unknowable artifact.

Key Features:
Mind-Bending Puzzles
Manipulate gravity to navigate impossible spaces, solve spatial puzzles, and uncover hidden connections within shifting environments. Each mechanic is deeply tied to the narrative, reinforcing a sense of discovery and unease.

Unsettling Atmosphere
Step into a place of vast, silent spaces, shifting architecture — a world that feels alien and inhuman, yet strangely intentional… and not entirely welcoming. Is the Artifact simply a structure, or something more?
Rather than relying on traditional horror, we build psychological tension to amplify key story moments. Cognition Method invites you not just to solve puzzles, but to interpret a world that challenges logic, and to find meaning within the unknown.

The Human Story
The year is 2085. Earth is gone, humanity survives on Mars. You are William Mortwood, an astronaut of the Martian Academy. A remote space station has gone silent after bringing a mysterious Artifact aboard. The crew vanished, and your son was among them. Now you must uncover the truth, face challenges that defy reason… and try not to lose yourself along the way.
What happened to those who entered the Artifact? And what part of the protagonist’s past refuses to let him go?
Through abandoned recordings and fragmented notes scattered across a space station, follow the traces of a vanished expedition and piece together a deeply personal story about curiosity and the limits of the human mind.

Find your way within a mysterious artifact and unveil a non-ordinary story.
